Algiecel designs the first full-scale production line that combines light and CO2 for the production of biomass for e.g. food/dietary supplements or sustainable fuel.

"We have an opportunity to - decentralized - take CO2 from e.g. biogas plants, where you are not close to a future CO2 infrastructure, and then we can use something as simple as electricity to convert into a biomass product that can be easily transported to the market," says CEO and founder of Algiecel Henrik Busch-Larsen.
