"In relation to Power-to-X, there are two aspects where we can see an advantage for integration. One is utilization of excess oxygen from electrolysis, which we can use as a supplement for our fermentations. And oxygen is exactly our most expensive raw material at the moment, so we can see a great opportunity for integration there. Number two is that our process emits a lot of CO2, and we would like to be able to offer it as part of an integration for PtX," says Technology Specialist Michael Elleskov from Unibo.
